1. Information we collect
When you contact the club, subscribe to updates, request merchandise or ask us to delete information, we receive the details shown on that form. These can include your name, phone number, email address, message, merchandise selection, quantity, fulfilment choice, delivery address and notes.
Authorised administrators and scorers also provide account and security information needed to access protected club systems. Basic technical information may be processed to keep forms secure, prevent abuse and diagnose website problems.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, manage subscriptions, confirm merchandise requests, arrange collection or delivery, administer scorer access, maintain accurate cricket records and protect the website from misuse. We do not sell personal information.
3. Messages and preferences
If you subscribe to club updates, we use your email address for that purpose. You can ask to unsubscribe at any time. Operational replies about an enquiry or merchandise request are separate from marketing updates.
4. Storage and service providers
Website records are stored using secured club services, including Supabase for data and Vercel for website hosting. Images and email or WhatsApp follow-up may involve the providers used for those services. We share only what is reasonably needed to operate the website, fulfil a request or comply with law.
Public visitors cannot read private contact messages or merchandise requests. Access is restricted to authorised club administrators who need it for their work.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate statistics about visits to our public website, including pages visited, referring websites, approximate location and browser/device information. Vercel uses a request-derived visitor hash instead of third-party tracking cookies. Visitor sessions are discarded after 24 hours; aggregate reports may be retained longer. See Vercel's analytics privacy information.
We exclude administration and scorer pages, remove query strings and URL fragments from analytics page URLs, and do not send form contents, order details or account information as custom events. You can disable analytics below. The preference is stored on this device, and we also honour your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.

5. Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, club administration, security, dispute handling or legal obligations. We use access controls, protected administrator routes, form validation and abuse prevention to reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and deletion requests
You may ask us to provide, correct or delete personal information associated with you. Use the Delete Account and Data Request page or email info@takashingacricket.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Official cricket records, scorecard correction histories, scorer audit logs and records required for security or legal reasons may be retained where deletion would undermine sporting integrity or another legitimate obligation.
7. Children
A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission. We will review the request and remove information where required.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or club services change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when this version took effect.
